When Nissan launched a its all-new EV, a competitive EV market was saturated with new designed to be high-tech, practical, or futuristic re-inventions of beloved nameplates.

Ariya needed to feel different. And most importantly, it needed to prove that Nissan didn’t make an EV to keep up – they made an EV for the same reason they made any other car – because they’re fun to drive.
