2025 Wrapped celebrated the years most loved moments in music by transforming them into physical destinations for fans. For New Yorkers, listening to Chappell Roan’s ‘The Subway’ on the subway was that moment.
Our dream was to turn every stream of ‘The Subway’ in 2025 into 1mm of hair in Union Square – the result was an 800+ foot decal and station domination that did just that.
organic buzz started on the morning commute with fans documenting the install.
Fans found easter eggs hidden in the hair and sparked conversation online.
From every entrance, the hair in Union Square led to the L train that had been wrapped in Chappell’s hair and listening stats – inside and out.
Posters throughout the station presented data stories and brought fans into the world of Chappell’s video.
